I've heard about the shack for some time and have looked forward to paying a visit. With a couple asterisks it more than lived up to my high expectations. The Low Country Boil nailed it. Beautifully seasoned and nice mix. The potatoes sucked up the seasoning and I'd have eaten 2x more. I DID have them add more corn and am glad I did. Messy and delicious The fried oysters are tasty but on the small side, about the only one of those asterisks. The other: a nice Cole slaw but needed a bit more salt and pepper. Otherwise classic and great texture. Add great service by Maddie and George! I'd have them wait on us any time.

Well when your in Savannah you have to have some sort of seafood, since it is a seafood town. We used the yelp app and decided to give this one a try. I went with the shrimp boil devained, which is a $2 dollar upcharge. It comes with corn on the Cobb, shrimp, potatoes, and sausage. My wife had a fried plate of shrimp, calamari, and French fries. We waited outside for about 25 minutes, it is a busy place around dinner time, but was worth it. Once you get seated and you decide what you want you order at the counter. Drinks are at a soda fountain and have free refills. Both of us ate here for about $50 to $60 bucks. It is also located in the high traffic shopping area of Savanah so you will find stuff to do after eating. Worth a try.

My friend and I were craving a seafood boil, and chose Savannah Seafood Shack based on its good reviews. They weren't super busy on a Friday evening, and the interior had a casual vibe. The decor was nautical-themed, with fishing net on the ceiling, and sea creature wall art. We seated ourselves and then went up to order at the counter. I chose the The Love Shack Steamin Combo, which was a little on the pricy side, but included Shrimp, Crawfish, Clams, Mussels, and Snow Crab Legs. It also came with potatoes and corn on the cob, which I wasn't able to substitute for any other sides. Service was quick and our Steamin Combos came out in plastic bags, with bibs (super necessary), crab crackers/utensils, lemon, and garlic butter. The portion size was perfect and I ended up finishing all the seafood, but eating it was a whole project (mostly in a fun way). The Crab was my favorite part and went so well with the garlic butter. The Crawfish were not the best, but likely because they weren't in season. Overall though, good for a messy but tasty dinner!

I thought I would never eat seafood again. This is coming from someone that is 25 years dry of eating mussels. I don't consider shrimp cocktail fish. But my wife and I went to one place near us and it was ok. This place really really changed our mind and had a lot of powerful seasoning flavor. The best thing we've ever had and it was exactly what we wanted. We both got the Lowcountry boil the one below the southern boil. Best thing we've ever had highly recommend coming here I guess now I'm a crab person.

Food was pretty good. A solid portion of shrimp in this meal. Ordered the Cajun fries for the side. And hush puppies. I thought the setup was a big odd- they seat you at a table where you look at the menu and then you have to go up to order. I guess maybe because they don't want a two-top to sit at a 4-top? People seemed to enjoy the food. Quick bites, didn't wait long for my dinner. And it was hot.

We shared the boil and an order of hush puppies. It was perfect size for sharing. Potatoes, deveined shrimp (an up charge but worth it), sausage and THE BEST corn on the cob! The ladies working here were friendly and helpful. Carly and Princess were great!
